You can switch to another provider. I would say a merger can be a material adverse change or mac. The change is who you pay to. Lets say you owe $$$$ to att and left to go to tmobile. Then when they merge att can cut you off saying u owe them $$$$ and cut u off.

Well really T-Mobile user's can't troll because T-Mobile will have ceased to exist HAHAHA.

The customer's who stay with AT&T during the merger will be AT&T customer's.

I hope we never merge with the [censored] ATT users.

Frankly I like the T-Mobile users, and Danny Boi, our mod, is the best.

I hope we still remain independent at least on here, like Alltel still has its own forum

Well unlike Verizon, AT&T is most likely to phase out the T-Mobile brand as quick as humanly possible and shut down the HSPA+ AWS network's and combine the GSM network's for their own user's. I have a feeling T-Mobile user's will be the "redheaded" step children in this marriage.

As both a T-Mobile and AT&T user, I could care less if the forum's are merged. I hate AT&T as much as you guy's, if AT&T fail's with this merger and the network goes down even more then that leave's T-Mobile user's 2 option's, downgrade to Sprint or step over to Verizon and get the decent service your used to.

I will be pissed if I lose my loyalty plan when my contract run's out, and if that happen's I am dropping AT&T-Mobile altogether.

I'm /thrilled/ about this merger. Got away from AT&T about 8 months ago and they're back to get me.
Still have AT&T service, but don't use it much due to the poor call quality. Just ride it out on T-Mobile as long as we can, we still have a good year or more, assuming the merger is allowed.

I'm still not sure what to think about the situation. I'll stay with T-Mobile as long as possible. My contract expires next February, and I'm sure I'll have to make some sort of decision by then. I've got corporate discounts with both AT&T and Verizon, but both will cost at least $30 a month more than T-Mobile. I've got a great grandfathered plan that suits my family well.
