My droid also reboots when I try to quit adobe after reading train schedule. I think if you can show verizon exactly how it reboots you can get new one.

My droid x has been rebooting twice for the last day. One, this morning as I was trying to make a phone call it froze and then the droid eye appeared and then it starts from the lockscreen with the droid start up sound. Two hours ago, I was surfing the web and then it went black screen and then the droid boot animation logo showed up not the droid eye. My battery is not hot nor am I overclocked but I am rooted and the last app I installed was flow.

My X used to reboot while establishing or ending a call when I was in a fringe service area on an extended network (u.s. cellular) boundary.
It happened to me a few times a day and c.s. on the phone and in mutiple stores could never solve the issue.
Now that im always in a native Vzw service area these days, it no longer happens. Only when I was located in that fringe area.

I'd get this when accessing google maps... making/receiving calls... opening a text message... or nothing at all! Often times the phone would reboot while just sitting on the table.
I love the device and what Android has to offer. The last tech I spoke with said he had a Droid X and was experiencing the same issues. Made me jump to the iOS camp![]()
Constant reboots are typically indicative of an app that you've put on your phone. The first thing I'd ask, is do you have advanced task killer on your phone, if not it's something that every single droid owner should have, try that first. Secondly, what apps have you installed lately, are they pirated apps, I've noticed a tendency with pirated apps more often than not cause this problem, if not pirated, start with the most recent app you've installed, and uninstall and then see if the issue still pops up. I've yet to find a Droid that constantly reboots that isn't related to user error.
Droid incredible reboots and apps now force close
How many reboots do you get in a day?
