So i wake up this morning to find out that my data is completely gone... Sooo i call up simple mobile and basically they tell me that corporate has maunally shut my data off... MANUALLY!!!! I must be some super criminal or something i guess.. Maybe they don't know that im just an 18y/o highschool senior.. Im using HTC mytouch 4g and im on the unlimited plan.... If somehow this is a mistake what should i ask for in return for the 3+ days of missing data??? And has this ever happened to any of you? I havent received a shutoff txt message or anything it just shut off and they told me they had to submit a ticket to corporate.. BULL ****!!!! im so angry right now
Dump them for Airvoice.
We're all going to be using Att anyway if the Tmobile merger completes. Simple mobile will end up being just another Att mvno. And guaranteed Att isn't going to give their mvnos the kind of data packs that Tmobile gave its prepaid arm and mvnos. Not without an arm and a leg in play.
LTE has arrived. The third carrier in Las Vegas with 10x10 LTE coverage
Coverage will expand to 100 million LTE pops for the first half of 2013, with the second half of 2013 expanding to 200 million POPs covered. Release 10 LTE (2×10, 2×20) will be better performing than all other competitors.
T-Mobile USA. “This year, we’re stepping on the gas again. We are making continued coverage improvements and launching an advanced LTE network
So you used more than 9gb........
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I897
At&t SGS III, LTE
i used up 4GB so far TOTAL for 2months... they did not reset my data for some reason... ive been with them for 2months.. but i just use pandora about 10-15songs per month and browsing the internet... maybe its the background data??? i downloaded some apps like 2 or 3 but thats it...
It can't be that i used too much data because the customer service rep said that i would get a txt message if that was the case.. so im totally confused right now..
This could be the beginning of the death spiral for Simple where they start cutting people off from their imaginary unlimited plan. At 4gb over 2 months you'd have been okay with the T-Mobile $70 plan and with discounts it0's like a 3 to 5 dollar a month difference.
UPDATE: I wasn't cut off because of data usage, I was told I was cut off because of a "mistake" by corporate obviously it was no mistake if corporate MANUALLY SHUT OFF MY DATA, anyways my data is turned back on and theres nothing i can do right now because im not paying $70 a month for tmobile's unlimited plan, maybe when i head off to college but oh well, **** you simplemobile once i get a steady job im switching ASAP, CRAPPY CUSTOMER SERVICE! sorry for caps lol
Tmobile is going 59.99 on their month to month postpaid Even More plus unlimited everything plans though at 2 gigs, they throttle you to a slower speed. Still cheaper then Tmobile prepaid but don't know how much tax they'd throw in. It varies from state to state.
It's not happening, T-Mobile killed it.
As offthegrid pointed out T-Mobile's plan is NOT 70.00 a month if you do it right.
Using online refills you can get that price down to around 63.00 a month. Calling Mart seems to always be running a special.
Roaming is not available on Simple but you get (for whatever it's worth) the same roaming coverage as a T-Mobile post paid customer from what I understand.
Personally, I'd rather be with the actual network provider than an MVNO if the price is with a couple of dollars.
Samsung Highlight: Is t-mobile on crack!?
