Incredible phone. Fast (unlike the X10), slim and looks great. Made my Nexus S look like a chunky piece of crap next to it.

Would get it but.... want dual-core lol.

I'd love to have one, but waterproofing is definitely up there in the requirements...and this doesn't have it unfortunately.

It has an international sibling (X12) that'll be released soon though. And personally I'll pick the international version for the convenience of no hypersim.

They better give that phone proper support this time. After SE killed the X10's off last Jan. they left so many Xperia users (including me) out in the cold. AT&T users in the states were even worse off. We didn't even get 2.1 OR multitouch!

I'd stick with a Regza or something like it, even with 2.1. At least thats up to JP standards like waterproofing.

Yeah I'd go for the X12 over this as well, unless there's a huge price difference or something like that. X12+SO-01C back cover please

That's true...thanks to xda devs. It took their effort to get the roms that were supposed to be on the x10. I used to go to xda for cool custom content and root apps (they were awesome with my last winmo phone). Instead I go their to fix SE's shortcomings -_-

For anyone wondering, yes it's out, and no it doesn't look like SE changed anything on the Japanese version.

Rumor is that the AU by KDDI version will be slightly thicker and include NFC and 1seg. Softbank model please

Got mine (Midnight Blue LT15i, ZH/EN HK version). Not the docomo version but it's basically the same phone.

That 'mobile Bravia' thing actually seems to work- enhances color etc (makes it all seem a bit unreal ala the colors on my NS's AMOLED but is really cool).

Exmor R mobile CMOS sensor < Sharp CCD. Sorry Sony but low light images are still grainy and oversharpened. CCD over this any day.

No 1seg and NFC is a bummer but it's not as if I could use it here.

Looking for the SO-01C back cover in blue. Anyone can 'source' this for me in Japan or China?

    Thanks!

If anyone wants I'll take pictures (but since it's not a keitai martin'll probably ban me or something )
