I am using a custom rom, maybe that might be your problem. Ohh and QPST will not work with the thunderbolt. It gives me an error. CDMA WS 6.0 works for me. The only thing I am not able to change yet is the mip and ppcongfig. Since the QPST won't let me. Maybe it's similar to motorola droids where you have to flash N.V. items.

Thanks for your reply, So you currently have the thunderbolt flashed to metropcs with text and calls? Did you leave the lte sim card inside the phone? And may you please send me the cdma ws program or a link to the version you used?
    Thanks again!

If BeanP is using the most recent version of CDMA Workshop it's tied to his specific computer and would be unusable on yours, jd.

BeanP, will you shine some more light on flashing the TB to another carrier? Is it possible to flash it to work on Sprint?

as already stated cdma ws is locked down by device id to your specific computer and will not work if emailed. search google for the official site do not ask for warez again.

Hello, I didn't mean to ask for a warez here because its against from rules, I Google the program and did not find cdma ws 6.0 that's why I asked him were he got the program from.

to make the prl stick to the thunderbolt you don't need cdma workshop or any program, all you have to do is put the IMEI into metropcs inventory system and dial *22804 and update the prl from there and that's it.

You cannot dial *228 on the thunderbolt, The call just ends, Also I took the phone to a flashing store and the couldn't add the meid into the system, I don't know why...

Hello everyone, Yeah I am back. Well what I did is I flashed the thunderbolt with the latest CDMA w.s. Like they say I can't point you to where to get it from, but yeah like LOGIC4L stated. It is locked to my pc. Don't even bother looking for a way around it. Doubt there would be something out there. So you must purchase the software if you are looking to really flash your HTC. I flashed mine and did not activate it. The phone does have an MEID when I read from the CDMA software. So which means that you can use the esn to activate it. I had a custom rom on mine if this makes any difference. Maybe you have it all stock. Mine was also rooted and ready to go. Except I ended up selling it. Because It's almost the same thing as having an EVO. Your not going to be able to access the 4G LTE at the moment. No one can get it to work. If there is a way well it's impossible for some. You would prob have to remake a board LOL to work with metropcs. Frequency is all different from what everyone has been telling me here on Howard forums. It should be simple to flash this thunderbolt if you have the right software. JUST DO REMEMBER QPST WON'T BE ABLE TO CHANGE ANY SETTINGS FROM THE PHONE FOR SOME REASON. I already tried updating to the latest version. Not unless I did not find the latest. If anyone needs flashing help with the thunderbolt just message me or just keep replying here and maybe we can use teamviewer and I will help. No charge. just help. Support.

(don't get the HTC thunderbolt is you are expecting over 1.5 MBPD that's the speed I am getting here at california. SUXXXXXXX I so much kind of regret buying this phone. Well I ended up buying it because I sold the HTC-TB so o well good bye T.B. See you in the future!!!! I already miss it...... So glossy and clean and Heavy weight unlike this light Indulge phone. I think metropcs phones are made with the cheapest materials specially the samsung ones. The LG optimus feels a bit better on my hand. I don't like this Indulge at all, maybe it's because I been with flashed phones for years or maybe It's just me..... who knows..... anyone in my side?????

have you ever added esns into the system? if so then that should not be a problem for you to add this one. i was going to add the esn to the system, but i did not do it do to the fact that i would not be able to use 4G. Do you have vdma workshop? if so, then what version do you have?

When cdma w.s. read the meid of the thunderbolt did the meid still start with a 99? And after flashing the prl, did the prl stick to the thunderbolt and were u able to change the min & mdn number?

Yes the prl should stick at least it did with me BUT I used a different software, Mines also starts with 99... Which is a big problem, Metro Pcs won't accept that meid, Not even with Houdini, I tried various times, That is what stopped me from getting it connected to Metro. Also I heard that the thunderbolt does not have a real meid, Supposedly it has a virtual meid. The phone is very complicated trust me I spent a good 2 weeks trying, It seems to be currently impossible!
