I got the unlock code for my old V3re from T-Mobile, but from the first line, the instructions didn't work:

At main screen, press the Menu key and then enter 073887*.

The Enter Security Code screen is displayed.

Instead, nothing happened.

I have the "foreign" SIM already and was able to unlock the phone by inserting it and entering the code when asked, but I'd like to know what the correct procedure should have been.
