How will buying the Nexus S at bestbuy in Canada work?

Hi all, I'm probably going to get the Nexus S when it comes to BestBuy in Canada any week now.

First off, is this really the best forum for the Nexus S? Why hasn't HF been updated with a Android Hardware > Samsung > Google (Nexus One)?

From what I've heard, the Nexus S will be available for most networks in Canada. So I'm wondering how will the phone get sold so I don't have to pay the full price? Essentially I'll be looking to jump into a 3 year contract to bring the price down as per usual. How does this work when you buy it at BestBuy? I want to be prepared before I go in there and let some joe shmoe smooth talk me. haha. Thus, should I be negotiating a plan over the phone ahead of time? I have no cell right now so I think I have a lot of options.

I pre ordered one at Best buy today. They told me that BB & Futureshop have exclusivity for the 1st month with the phone. They will be selling at discount on contract but they don't have the prices yet. Don't think you can negotiate anything on a plan when entering into a new contract at BB or FS. You need to negotiate directly with providers.
