You can charge it with your PC. Heck i charge mine with my XOOM using an OTG cable. haha.

I think mine is dying. Slow page loads, stalling, and it won't let me do the update either. Left it running for over an hour and it would never detect the port and connect for the upgrade to start.

Gonna take it back tomorrow and see what Verizon will do. Really would like to get the MiFi. This thing is junque.

As of August 30, 2011, there is an update for the LC11 on Samsung's website. The update makes the LC11 ready for use seconds after turning it on.

Is there software for the PC that lets you change settings, see signal strength, etc. in the LC11? I do not find it on the Samsung website.

There's no stand-alone app, but you can call up the web-based, firmware app on the device by connecting to it via wifi and then typing the following URL into your web browser: http://192.168.1.1. Instructions for all the features available in this mode are available in the users manual - which is also downloadable from the site you linked

For some reason, since the outage, the "Jetpack" has been frequently powering itself on. I recall during the previous outage it powering itself on.

Does the sammy still have stalling issues? I am looking to pick up a hotspot but was initially turned off by the MiFi's inability to charge over usb.
