Okay I have a 1 month old EVO, and for the past 2 days, around 5 or 6pm strangely enough, it has been popping up an error message as stated above. When it happens, it happens 5 or 7 times in a row, giving me the option to "Dismiss" each time.
FULL TEXT OF ERROR MESSAGE:
"Data Call Failure. Error Code 67. registration failure. your pcs vision username and /or password maybe incorrect . please try again . (dismiss)"
First time I noticed it, I called Sprint tech support. They talked me thru doing a PRL update (Menu > Settings > System Updates > Update PRL), followed by a Battery Pull, followed by a Profile Update (Menu > Settings > System Updates > Update Profile). Which seemed to get rid of it.
Next day it returned. I did none of these things. Why does this keep coming back?? I dont feel I should have to keep doing updates to stop this error code.. Not sure at this point if it's network related, or phone related.

It happens to me every now and then, I think it has to do with the phone or the network.
I usually just put it in airplane mode for a moment, then disable airplane mode... usually does the trick.
HERO android has DATA CALL FAILURE boxes, PLUS can't register gmail??? Huh??
