I don't get it. Wouldn't a transparent display be very distracting? You'd always have the content you're trying to view overlaid on top of whatever background you happen to hold the device against. That's worse than glare/reflections. You'd literally have to put a white sheet of paper behind the phone in order to get any reasonable contrast on the display. So again, what's the point? Seems to be little more than a gimmick.
I am a little confused. My Verizon phone was able to roam on GSM because they used TDMA. Tell it was shutdown. The phone recognizes it as Analog. If PCS has TDMA, It could be technically be used on GSM.
