Hi, has anyone tried to get an unlocked motorola flipout (MB511) working on any of the canadian networks? I've got one and haven't had any luck in getting it working using a vendor's sim card.

One of the mts dealers thought it might still be locked but wasn't sure. Any way to tell without inserting a sim card?

    Cheers!

New Samsung Nexus S will it work with MTS?

    Hey there,
I have a Blackberry bold that I got last year and I have the talk, text, surf plan. Wondering if I buy a Nexus S (UNLOCKED), if it will work with my SIM card (or w.e I have with my BB) with MTS. And if I can do it myself or do I have to go to MTS store to activate it? And if I have to go like some of you did, how much will it cost me! Thanks!

The Nexus I want is unlocked. And MTS on their site has APN profiles to use in the new android devices if needed. So let me know what to do. And if its the wrong SIM card then can i buy one?

I'm thinking of getting the Samsung Galaxy S II from Expansys (http://www.expansys.ca/samsung-galax...d-16gb-209554/) but, as far as I can tell, there's no way to determine if it has NFC or not; some of the earlier UK editions did not have it. Any ideas/advice?

The earlier UK edition did not have it, the later edition did. That's why I'm trying to determine which edition is available from Expansys.
