You can swap all you want between non-smart phones but remember that there's now a required $10 fee for smartphone use on any smartphone activated after March 1st, 2011. So if you're already paying the $10 fee then it shouldn't matter. Be careful.

If I have another Sprint branded phone that has a clean EISN, etc. etc., can I activate it on an account without extending my contract or affecting my eligibility for an upgrade. I understand it can be done on line now.
I basically want to be able to downgrade from a smartphone to another phone that has longer battery life for use when I will not have access to a a way to recharge. (And yes I know I could carry one or more spare batteries.)
When I am back to having good access to a way to recharge can I swap back? is there a limit to the number of times I can swap? (GSM with sim cards is so much simpler.)
Or you could just get a spare battery? But no it shouldn't effect you. You will have to call them and change your plan to downgrade any features you're not using.
new unlocked phones with contract upgrade/extension?
