Samsung Highlight T749 Touch screen replacement, where do the wires connect?
Hi everyone,
I have a Samsung Highlight T749. I bought a replacement oem touch screen. The add said it was easy to do but I am having difficulty locating where the touch screen wire connects to. When I took the old screen off, the wires just came right up and I didn't see where they connect to.
I think I have to take the phone apart even futher, but am afraid I might break something since I don't know how it is supposed to come apart.
The Samsung Highlight has the same issue as the Behold. Where the back and end buttons no longer respond. Regardless of popular believe this is not a malfuntion. This is the cause of the registered owner reporting the phone stolen to T-mobile. The phone will repeatedly shut down and the battery must be removed in order to get the phone to launch again but will continue with the same issue. The only way to fix it is to have the registered owner take the phone to a T-mobile help desk with photo ID. Otherwise the phone is rendered useless. Hope this helps...
I found the connection I was looking for. You have to take off a few more screws and move the camera. Be careful with the connection. You have to unlock the lever to slide in the wires.
