Anyone know how to remove the front faceplate of a samsung r451. I spilled some coffee on it and need to open it up to clean it with alcohol to fix it. I see there are 3 screws on the back side when you side it open but that's as far as I can get. Don'e want to break something. Are there more screws behind the hidden part of the slider? Tnx

Usually, after removing all the screws, you will have to carefully pry the edges up along the seam line until you determine where (and in what direction) you need to pry in order to unsnap the pieces. Every phone I've ever taken apart has case parts that are designed to snap together and then be secured by screws.
I've found that an old credit card or hotel key makes a good non-marring pry tool.

:if ur still trying 1st-u need to remove back cover(5 small screws)2nd-remove 2 screws holding the mother board 3rd-carefully snap off cable from board from front slider (this is important as you can tear the flat cable if not disconnected carefully)4-carefully lift board out (this will also reveal qwerty keyboard pad etc-this will "fall" out)5-after removing mother board you will find the screws from the slider mechanism. there r 4 very small (mayb 1/32" long) screws 2 each side of slider 6-at this point you will find there are 6 screws holding the back of the top slider--wahlah u have disassembled ur r451 CAUTION-EXTRA CARE MUST BE MADE TO ENSURE THE RIBBON CABLE FROM BOTTOM SLIDER TO TOP SLIDER DOES NOT GET DAMAGED
