    APN Settings?

edit: PLease delete. I as asking the wrong question.
I just poppsed in my sim card from chatr and it's not working. I thought it was because of the APN settings, but I realized it's only been a couple of minutes since I activated.

So I'm assuming that it has to do with the time.
(but my apn settings are blank, so I don't know if I need them to text)

    Hi,

What are the APN settings for ChatR?
    Can someone please tell me?

    Thank you.

Access Point settings do not affect your ability to connect to the cell network nor does it affect your ability to make calls. They are only for data usage (which Chatr doesn't even offer) and multimedia messages.

Also, APNs are not used for texting. The messege centre number for text messages is the same as with Rogers Wireless which is +17057969300.

I discovered that the unlock code that I had gotten was bad and didn't work. When I put the sim in a phone that I was sure that was unlocked, it worked right away. I'm a little disappointed that the unlock code didn't work...

    But it works.

Thanks for posting and clarifying things.

How come it's only 2G? I thought chatr now offers data.

They do have 3G, the phone itself is limited to 2G because it uses a different frequency for 3-4G. If I were on T-Mobile, or Wind, or even Mobilicity, then the phone would be on the quicker DATA. I just wanted to post CHATR's APN settings. Sorry about the confusion.

Keep Only One APN. Multiple APN on Android may not work with MMS.

So you mean delete the non-Chatr APNs?
