Well, 850Mhz 3G is only useful if you're in the US or in Australia, they're probably the only places in the world that use 850 3G. The N-02A also has pinyin/Chinese input if you need that.

nec would have 850 3g for voice calls depending if your area uses 3g 850, increasing coverage. I know in most parts of florida my nec is basically on 3g all day and doesnt see gsm, parts of the northeast was like that too such as nyc

If you're interested I'm currently selling a 1810C (aka 930SH) factory unlocked. I used it for a few months with ATT with no problems but succumbed to the iPhone 4. I'm just looking to get rid of it so letting it go for cheap. PM if you're interested.
In my area AT&T is pretty good I see 3G on my iphone4 everywhere I go. Never had a problem with dropped calls or anything. Honestly I'm trying to drop the price of my bill since all I seem to use is text and calls but want something different from the lame phones AT&T offers so I decided to shop around for keitais I just wasn't fully prepared for all the information I need to absorb. Thought that you just bought them unlocked and they would work didn't know anything about software unlocks hyper sims etc until a week ago.

i personally really like the sh06a Nerv, im guessing that would have all the normal problems of the sh06a, is it worth it to buy the nerv version with all the issues? or are they bad enough that its better as a display/fanboy phone?
Depends on price. If it's like $200 or something I'd go for it. Even at $300 I can see the appeal (limited production, and if you like the NERV franchise...). Anything over that and I'd go for a newer non special edition phone and slap a few nerv stickers on or something lol.

if i could find it for like 300 or less i would get it. but my problem is that i can only find it for like $900, that on ebay and ive looked on KeitaiInUS as well.
im still undecided which keitai ill buy next. i just got a sh906itv about a week ago, and really like it, just kinda want another phone. ive been looking at the NERV phone a lot, as well as something like sh07a, 9020c, or some nec phones.
There are five SH-06A NERV keitai on Rakuten for sale at the moment: one is priced 27,000 Yen ($338), two for 29,300 yen ($366), and two for 29,800 Yen ($373). Just find someone who'll do the shopping/shipping for you and there you go, if the NERV's your choice of keitai.

hey this might be a bit off topic but since the owner has att maybe its a little bit on topic, but as you know tmobile is most likely gonna be bought by att, so I was wondering I have heard att detects peoples phones and if they have a smartphone, they sometimes force them to get a data plan or contracted plan as opposed to prepaid. For people who have been using keitas with ATT, do any of you use it with prepaid or without a data plan and has ATT ever complained about it??
they most detect phones sold by att, google nexus one, most things international probably wont get detected
nah, I'm sure they won't be able too, they still have me listed as having a captivate and I sold that thing a LONG time ago XD
