I actually love the look of this phone. I'm debating getting rid of my iphone for this because I use more apps on my ipad anyway. I just love physical keyboards and I never got the chance to own an e71. I came really close to getting an e72 though. I just love the hardware/form factor. This + 3g tethering for my ipad is gold. Only problem is the price. With the falling out of symbian, I wouldn't want to pay too much for this.

It will soon come down quite drastically in price. When I bought my N8 in November I paid 330 and I believe it started at 469 or something in October.

    Too little too late......

2.46 "LCD?"....really? 2.46" Nokia? Pass. I guess i'm still peeved that my ole' E61i with a 2.8" screen never evolved the way I would've liked to have seen it. Maybe WP7-8 will surprise all of us......hopefully?

Definitely going to buy one as soon as it get's available.

The EDoF camera is a real let down, otherwise everything about this beats my E72.

The E71 is still the best built, the metal frame is a lot thicker than the E72.

    Three points:

I'm disappointed by the touch buttons. Am I the only one who thinks physical buttons work better and more efficiently?

Someone also needs to revamp these "official threads". Consolidate all the questions and answers instead of going through dozens of pages of posts.

    This phone or E7?

    Thanks for the redundant response.

You may not care, but if this is the best response you could give, keep it to yourself.

Why do you even bother wasting your time in the symbian forum???? There's nothing here for you.

    ^+1000.

Kinda pointless to post in here if you don't care about the device. But hey, at least you'll see it in a movie or two before it's "truly" dead . I know that doesn't matter and doesn't make the phone better, but still fun to point out these devices in movies. Oh wait... I just made a pointless comment too.

I still want one. But I don't want to spend much for it. Always wanted an e71 and e72 and never did. Love this form factor, or maybe just these specific E-series devices in general. I'd be happy to review one to see if I like it. I use more apps on my ipad than iphone so I really don't need my iphone anymore. Would be nice to save some money on the data plan too. And I don't have tethering on my iphone so joikuspot on an e6 would allow me to use my ipad more.

Remember the N8 was kinda overpriced, but then there was the $368.00 Black Friday sale.

I see the same thing happening again. More than likely will be the day that I pull the trigger on it...

E71/E72 just amazing devices. Most dependable phones I need for a long day ahead of me. Battery life gets even better with each sequel...

PR-2 and possibly PR-3 could really make this phone a winner.

At the very least, e71 users should be excited since this phone will probably be a "True successor" for them...
