I had a few hours play on one using Nokia's Remote Device Access, and Handy Safe worked fine. Can't help with any others, Handy Safe was the only one I was interested in. Obviously I couldn't test syncing with the desktop version, but I imagine that should be fine.
There is a weather thing in Maps that gives a few days' forecast, but I didn't try any home screen widgets.
There are some apps I couldn't try on the RDA mode, and I wonder if anyone could tell me if they work or not?
1) Shazam
2) Remind Me (http://www.mobifunsoft.com/remindme)
3) Digital Chocolate's Cafe Solitaire
4) Podcasting (being able to download podcasts from an RSS feed)
5) EEMame (for old arcade games)
6) How good is video codec support?
Finally, has anybody moved from an E72 to the E6? If so, are you generally happy with the move?
Thanks in advance for any answers.

I have been using the E6 for a few days, and I am finding that the battery barely lasts a day on a full charge. It is on on par with my GF's Iphone. Iphone actually lasts longer than my E6.
I sync two email accounts, make 1-3 hours of calling per day, handful of SMS, 3 widgets, on ATT 3G, hardly use browser.
By 7PM the battery meter is on two - three bars. Way worse than E71, which easily gave me two days of heavy usage on 3G.
How has the battery life been for other E6 users?
I finally got my hands on the black E6 - it's really nice.
Spending sometime with it now and will post a new thread with my review and tips/tricks.
BTW the updated Angry Bird Rio works with the E6 =)
I see that Amazon now has the E6 @399, started around 450. I wonder where they will settle price-wise.
I haven't posted in this forum in a very long time. Last Nokia I had was the E72. Was disappointed with the build quality compared to the E71. I read the entire thread and got my answer in regards to the E6 not having the notification lights. That's a big disappointment because it's important to me. I would like to know when the phone is on standby, is there a standby clock that displays on the screen?
Do u guys know if the NAM version will come in white or silver? It seems like amazon only carries the black... Other sellers have the white and silver in stock, but does not specify whether its the US version or if theres warranty..

Hi. Like WirelessGal I too haven't posted in this forum in a long while.
I'm very interested in the Nokia C6 - I feel it's a better competitor in design to the iPhone and having the freedom of extensibility of what we're seeing in Android : what S60 has been known for.
I'm very interested in typing, file browsing & browsing speeds/performance and with launching large apps.
Anyone have video walk through?
I feel THIS should be Nokia's first Win phone 7 device since NFC is already imbedded.
Are you talking about the C6-00, C6-01, E6 or C7? Can't quite tell given the thread you've posted in and what you're saying.
The word 'Pentaband' means '5 Bands', from the Greek word 'pente' meaning '5'. For a phone to be pentaband it has to support 5 bands. If the phone has AWS support, it doesn't automatically mean that it is pentaband. The reason Wind and Mobilicity users like pentaband phones is because the reverse is true. We're not the only ones who like pentaband phones though, so please stop referring to phones that work on Wind and Mobilicity as pentaband. It causes unnecessary cofusion.
Hey Prom1, long time. I bought the E6. I'm loving it so far. The build quality is excellent. Much better than the E72. RF is amazing, call quality is very good but not as good as BlackBerry. The touchscreen is very responsive. However whenever I open any app, it takes a couple of seconds before it's opened. This applies to all apps, not just installed apps. At times the phone hangs for a bit. Hoping an OS update will fix this. Like any new OS there are going to be issues. I love the keyboard. It's better than the E72. I don't like the speaker placement. When my phone is sitting on the table, the speaker volume is much lower because it's covered. I think they should have put the speaker on top of the device. I'm still playing around with the E6.
I'm getting the Bold 9900 when it comes out. Since a lot of people are comparing these 2 devices, I'm going to thoroughly test both units out and give you my thoughts on them.
Prom1, Ithink you should get the E6.![]()
Whoops!
See how long it's been?! I cannot even comment on the correct models anymore! My previous comments where related to the Nokia C7 (NFC imbedded); which is incredible in design aesthetics. The Nokia E72 was a good design but took Nokia 8mths too late to ship so it didn't do so well vs the E71 (a pure masterpiece)!
Thanks for the Feedback WirelessGal. Long time indeed. I like the E6 but there are some things it needs to live up to ... No LED (something only SE and RIM still provide on wireless phones: very useful). And the screen is smaller than the 9900 (something I'm considering; I'll still make $$ on iOS but that is the high hand decision).
So ... E6, 9900, IP5 or do I go for SE Arc? (saw the Arc and I was impressed. I think SE's skin is highly underrated vs HTC's junk). The perfect thing is I'm ready to switch carriers in 2wks![]()
