    Total Call Cellular/Mobile

Looked around on the forum for a sub section for this Sprint MVNO but did not find anything that covered it specifically.

Being a Sprint MVNO it will use Sprint towers so Lets look at Sprints Tower area
Best map I could find. Click here https://coverage.sprintpcs.com/IMPACT.jsp
    for more map details.

    Now the Total Call map

Total Call is much like any other MVNO in how it works and they do seem to have some nice plans. But in a direct comparison to another MVNO they are lacking just a pinch.
    But still not bad.

One example is TC has a 1000 min 1000 text plan for 29.99. The other MVNO has 1000 and 1000 for an even 30.00 but you get 30 megs of Data.
Now that ain't much, but 30 megs for 1 penny is better than a slap in the face with a wet noodle.

I brought this up because I have been a proponent of Straight Talk/TracFone and Virgin Mobil.
I know VM is a MVNO of Sprint along with Boost. And that Straight Talk is a division of TracFone which is part of América Móvil.

Until today I was unaware that TC was a Sprint MVNO. A friend of mine uses TC and strongly supports his brand. Like I do mine and others theirs.
So I thought I would start a thread on it. And if there are any other TotalCall users out there in the HowardForums chime in and tell us what you think of this provider and their phones/service and or just your general opinion.

I've covered Total Call before and pointed it out as my top three Sprint mvno list because of their option of getting a year's worth of service almost for $20 (4x$5 cards w/90 day expiry each) and their really cheap line of refurb feature phones.

And they have unlimited plans that go head to head in price with Att mvnos and Boost mobile.

My other two fave Sprint mvnos are Platinum Tel and Mingo Wireless.

Hi, I have a Total Call Mobile phone.

I only use ~10 min. per month, so $5 every 3 month was pretty good plan for me.
But now, I am trying to use up my min. because my phone doesn't work in my room (which is basement of parents' house).

I brought the LG 125 for (after shipping) ~$65 that came with 500 starter minute (the 500 minute does roll over). I don't think the online dealer offer this deal (the 500 minutes) anymore.

Once I burn through my minutes, I planning to switch to Spot Mobile, which also has $5 every 3 month plan too with byod!

sorry if I am off topic, but I should also point there might be "cheaper Sprint MVNO yearly plan" : Zapp Unlimited

$10 every year for 200 minutes.
$15 every year for 400 minutes.

But Zapp is a new company and no one knows anything about them including how "stable" they are.

another recent form is talking about it here:

I know this is an old thread but after looking at the Total Call web sight I am wondering where the feature phones went to. I see some older flip phones and one other but nothing I would call a feature phone.
