    Nexus S and Blackberry Data plan

    would the 1gig Blackberry data work with the Nexus S or Does it require the smartphone Data plan???
    Was told by FIDO that the BB Data will not work for nexus S

    Who is best to talk to at FIDO about this?
    any help is much appreciated

    It will work. The Blackberry data plans from Rogers/Fido works with Blackberries AND smartphones.
    Fido (monthly plan - personal/data):Novatel Wireless MC950D / Nokia CS-18

    Rogers (pay as you go - Canadian prepaid): "Fido" (unlocked) Samsung Nexus-S

    Rogers (monthly BIS data plan): unlocked Blackberry Bold 9700

    Red Pocket Mobile (US prepaid): unlocked Sony-Ericsson w300i

    T-Mobile (US prepaid): unlocked Fido iPhone 3GS 32GB

    will my quick messaging phone data plan work? its unlimited text and data? if i get an unlocked nexus s that supports 3g? or will i be found in the sweep??? and have to change to a "smartphone" data plan??

    You need a smartphone Data plan.
    I'm not telling you anything that you can't just google for yourself
