So, touch screen works in normal open position too. Good.

It also does with the SH-07B and SH-01C. The SH-01B does not, as you know. I actually preferred that as I made lots of accidental presses when opening or shutting the SH-07B.

would this be a suitable phone for a t-mo 2g user? I would like to browse the net and send and receive sms/mms messages. I have been looking around and trying to use all the guides posted but I'm still not sure what to look for as far as what I want in a keitai.

Need internet? MMS? By and large, Android keitai are your only choice (there are exceptions here and there).

So save up about $800 USD and wait for the 007SH? LOL Thanks for the tip. This phone is a beauty though. I love the design.

Yep, one of the many reasons why we love keitais, and to me having one is a tradeoff to internet and MMS. I mean do we REALLY need to receive a picture of a random kitten that someone happens upon? Nehhh but at least with the 007SH there's is the option of both haha I'm just worried about the battery life on that thing..

I would be ok about the mms thing but no net would drive me crazy. Lol. Although I am usually the one sending the random pics of different things, but kittens usually arent one of them.

Agreed! Would like the Net Function to be there, It's one of my daily routine.

On the other issues, even if we get Docomo to unlock the handset we wouldn't be able to activate 3G Function?
    Pardon me if I'm wrong.

But then it would be troublesome to use the widgets with the keypad in open mode. But it seems they added the ability to select the softkeys (the 4 at the bottom) on the touchscreen on the SH-10C.
