I see the white SH10C is getting quite popular haha..
Anyways quick question to the keitai experts:
I've been using a microSD card reader to transfer data onto my keitai (photos, ringtones, videos etc) and I found it quite annoying to have to turn the phone off, take the battery out to have access to the microSD card itself so I went and got a USB cable for my kaitai today..
But when I plug it in my computer (macbook) the phone charges like it normally does with the wall charger..but my mac doesn't seem to show the keitai at all? Even the microSD folder :S I'm pretty sure the cable is not just for charging right? I mean it says 携帯電話用データ通信ケーブル on the box of the cable so I'm assuming it is meant to be for data transfer right?

i have same problem now, i did install drivers for the phone and i put it into USB mode. but still nothing shows up on my PC. I thought maybe its not possible to browse what i have stored in the internal phone memory ? does it work for sd card only ?

Tegorin-Try going to settings on the phone,external settings then select usb.choose microsd..after ur done putting stuff into it select back to communication mode.

Thinking of acquiring a SH10C, a quick question.

Is the mld ringtone still limited to 100kb and 12sec ?

Hi Guys/Gals, Need help where do I put the pictures onto the phone, what do I rename as and also trying to remember where to put the ringtones as well as I have all ready converted them to .mld. Hope to hear from you all cheers

Just dump your files on your SD card in the "\PRIVATE\SHARP\IMPORT" folder.
Then on your phone, go to "Tool -> MicroSD -> Import" and choose the 'BulkSort' option (menu button), and the phone will automatically organise all the files for you.

Hi, i´m new in this forum, recently I started to read about keitai, and yesterday my wife gave me my first keitai phone is SH-10C.

Is very spectacular, I use Facebook, youtube and many web pages only 1 time at the week, or lees. So I can live with out them.

I´m living in Mexico (more specific 50 miles to the USA Border).

The problem is the cellphone is locked, i´m thinking to buy a Hypersim, but i prefer SW unlock (if that is possible).

I really want to know your opinion.

Sadly, the SH-10C is from the Winter 2010/2011 collection and Docomo only started officially unlocking their phones from the Summer 2011 collection, so software unlock isn't available for your phone. You should be able to enjoy it with a hypersim just fine though.

The Docomo compatible list for Simlock phones, and the sh-10c is in the list.

Could someone recommend a Hypersim functional on SH-10c, beacuse in Ebay I only found Hypersim for SH-07 and lowers.

Hm, yes, I see. Well, that's great then. Just get the phone sent to someone in Japan you can trust - and make sure you have the original purchase papers - and they will get it unlocked at a Docomo shop for 3150 Yen.

Always when i hit up someone from my contacts and try to call them. it pops up a box asking if i wanna dial the number using the +81 prefix or if not. Is it any way to get rid of that and make it always to use no prefix ?
