Inspire 4G: Messages app sends pictures as slideshow only

I'm running the Ingersoll 2.4 ROM with the stock AT&T baseband. Every time I try to attach an image to a message, it attaches it as a slideshow. Extremely annoying when I'm trying to send an MMS to a non HTC phone, and the other person can see it.

Any ideas?

[EDIT] Just figured out that MMS in general isn't working, sending or receiving.

Was it like that before the mod? I have a Desire Z and it does the same thing. It shows like a 5 second clip of the photo.

I thought it was a Tmobile network thing. Maybe it's an Android thing?
