The phone is now listed on Verizon's site:

I recieved the demo unit, but the battery is charging and I haven't used it yet.
All I can say is it looks different next to other Android phones.
=> Read my reviews for the Samsung Droid Charge, HTC ThunderBolt, and Casio G'zOne Commando.

FAUguy, please let us know the sound quality and volume level on the earpiece. I'm thinking about buying this for Page Plus. Thanks.
I went back to the store this afternoon but they didnt have it activated, I did call 611 and the earpiece was loud and the speakers were loud and clear and the music that was installed, I guess because its a demo was loud and clear also.
I tried turning on wifi and trying out the browser, but it wouldnt connect to the wireless in the store for some reason.
So FAUguy how about testing that out on your demo please sir.
I went ahead and trusted them. I ordered one, but screwed up and didn't use the free overnight shipping so it won't be here til Monday. VERY disappointed that there is no Push To Talk....I mean how tough would it have been to add that?
I'm going to the store this morning to check it out ( day off yay!) If I like it enough I will be coming home with one. Someone is going to have to school me on the pitfalls of it being a Bing phone.
Its ashame that Verizon did away with the annual upgrades cause now I am going to have to Churn just to get one.
If you're willing to re-up, they're pretty cheap, $159.99. I think my Boulder was that much after $100 NE2. I still have a $100 NE2, so this thing at $59.99 is pretty tempting! I would like to see a few reviews first.

The earpiece speaker (on the top) is loud, as is the speakerphone (on the bottom). Both sound good and clear.
I am a motorola guy. I am currently using motorola v860.. I want to try new phone soon.. anything good about c771. the phone cost $199 plus $29.99 data required.. why is that phone expensive?
How does it stack up against the other VZ 3g Android offerings?
it dont really other than being rugged i dont see it as being anything but small and sluggish
. i went to check it out thinking i would be impressed cause i usually like casio stuff but i was let down totally
Well now I'm pissed, went to the store and still not active, decided to get one anyway and the girl says they don't have them, there special order! Damn Verizon!
Im really begaining to hate verizon, first they take away new every 2 then its 1 yr upgrades, and now their displaying phones that they wont activate so you can try them and dont even have them in the store.
If the phone is a special order why even have a display in the store?
