Got the OTA a couple days ago and I find that I now do not have to shut off and start up my phone. It's much more stable like Froyo was. I guess Google fixed the memory leaks.

Does anyone know....I bought a 2nd Nexus One, brand new and it came with 2.2. I did the #*#checkin*#* and I can't seem to get an OTA gingerbread update for it. How does that work for new phones? I updated Flash Player to 10.3. If I update it manually, do I need 2.2.3 before I can install 2.3.4? I'm very confused and frustrated.

From what I read on jeftek.com the force check should be *#*#checkin#*#*
I haven't tried it myself though.
