I have a Sanyo Incognito, and discovered the Voice Guide feature in the Settings>Other>Accessibility>Voice Services section. It provides spoken menu access for a visually impaired person such as myself, but after experimenting with it for the last couple days, I've discovered some very serious shortcomings... For example, if I want to read a text message that was sent to my Incognito, I have no issues accessing the inbox, but attempting to read an actual message results in none of the message except any embedded links or a email/SMS/MMS address being read... It's incredibly frustrating, as I was quite happy to discover that I could access the phone for what I considered the most useful features to me without sighted help, but it's disappointing that the Voice Guide seems implemented in a haf-***** manner. The basic question is this: Can anyone figure out how to make Voice Guide work as I'd expect it to, or if I need to flash the phone with a special accessible version of the software (assuming one exists) or if I have a broken Incognito... Any help would be greatly appreciated.
