HTC Desire HD & Fido - 3G not working!!!!

Hello,

I brought over an unlocked HTC Desire HD phone from Denmark. When I inserted my FIDO sim card, the phone started to work right away but I received no data connection (mind you that the phone I believe is debranded as I do not see any brand logos besides HTC upon startup).

A few weeks later, I tried using the following settings:
Name: fido internet
APN: internet.fido.ca
Username: fido
Password: fido
APN Type: internet


This has given me a really slow EDGE connection, but no 3G. My other smartphone receives the 3G connection no problem (so its not the area). I was wondering if there is another WAP address I need to use or if anyone has come across this?

You need the NA version of Desire HD in order to use 3G here in NA. That's probably why you can't get any 3G signal.
