Basically, here is what you want to do.

    1. Download APN Manager from the market

Add new APN with the app, and then proceed to edit with the following information:

    Name: (Give it a name)
    APN: att.mvno
    Username:
    Password:
    MMSC: http://mmsc.cingular.com
    MMS Proxy: proxy.mvno.tracfone.com
    MMS port: 80
    MCC: 310
    MNC: 410
APN Type: default, supl - Note: that is a comma "," between default and supl.
You can either eat the two peanuts I gave to you, or crush them..

There is another app called APN Backup and Restore. You should delete the ATT APN first....it can interfere with MMS

I'm using it on my HTC Inspire...have been for months...the settings may vary slightly. I only needed one APN....some people needed two...depends on the phone but I have yet to see an android it doesn't work on...it'll need to be an AT&T phone or an unlocked quad band phone for the 3g band to work

All phones use the same WAP and MMS settings for a given carrier. There are no iPhone settings or Android settings. There are simply carrier settings. You just have to enter them in the appropriate location for a specific phone model.

That's kind of what I meant...the information in the fields is the same, but some phone models require an extra APN. Mine only required one. Others may vary.

The quad bands refer to GSM bands only. An AT&T phone only requires the 850 MHz and 1900 MHz GSM bands. For 3G, the phone must also have the 850 MHz and 1900 MHz 3G bands. Any other bands present in the phone are there for international roaming or for use with domestic carriers who have different 3G bands from AT&T.

With AT&T, "4G" refers to higher speed on the existing 3G bands. The international standard for 4G has not been promulgated by the International Telecommunications Union, an agency of the United Nations. Until then each carrier has a different definition for 4G.

I have an Atrix on ST. I used APN Backup and Restore. I deleted all APN's then loaded this one and all has worked well since.
