Question Convert PDF to ePub on my iPad 2

    Hello!
I would like to convert a PDF file to ePub format for reading it on an iPad.
Is there an online/desktop tool that will allow me to do that?
    Thanks.

PDF is the worst file format for reading on eBook devices. However, you may try GoodReader or ReaddleDocs iPhone apps. They have a text reflow feature to extract and show only the text from the PDF file.

You can get the free app Stanza on your iphone and then download the desktop version. Use the desktop version to convert it to epub and then you can automatically sync it through wifi onto your iphone.

If you haven't found a solution already, try Calibre software. It is an ebook management software that can be used to convert many formats. It is free and open source, http://calibre-ebook.com/.

Calibre is the best option! It works great and allows you to convert from multiple sources to multiple outputs, including PDF to ePub (calibre-ebook dot com). It is a desktop application for Windows/Mac/Linux.

Really?!! It's been around for over a decade and has scaled quite well. I see no issues reading on iPhone or iPad 2 vs purchased ePub fies from app store. What features or functionality is lacking?
