there are tons of keyboard apps on the android market free and paid. if you can't find them that's not our problem.
Swiftkey is the best one I have found
You can add the .com to the prediction and pretty much every time you type a web address it will bring up the .com in the suggestions above the keys.
Mine has the .com key right next to the spacebar I just noticed it
I use SwiftKey and if I type in a web address bar (dot) com is to the right of the space bar, if I type anywhere else the space bar gets bigger and takes its place.

Thanks I'll check swiftkey out. From the screenshots on the market it just looked like a plain jane keyboard.

Remember there is a short return period, so you can try it out.

I like SlideIt personally. It does most of the things Swype doesn't.
+ Installs on most anything
+ Add words on-demand, not without your consent
+ Remove any word
+ Acronym support
+ top-row suggestions
+ User-definable height
+ Works great with document suites (unlike Swype many times)
+ Doesn't hang the phone (unlike Ultimate Keyboard in my experience)
- Can't remember number passwords
Better Keyboard also has a dedicated .com key when typing in the address bar of the browser.
I like Swype, but it has just stopped functioning about once a week while entering text. Just freezes not accepting any input. I have to switch to Android then back to Swype to get it working again. Anyone else have this problem?
I did download Swift while it was an Amazon free app, but got so use to Swype I haven't really given it a try. Swype is real good at predicting .com, you can just start anywhere near the "." and pretty much swipe in the general direction of com, and .com will be entered. I can type faster with Swype than I can on my PC (I'm a 1 finger pecker)...![]()
True, Swype is great for entering domain names... I actually love that you can swype word-by-word in address bars and it adds them all together without a space. (Thanks for reminding me TCAT.)
.com, .net, .org, .edu, probably all the big names can be done like that.
