What models do free govt phone providers Safelink, Assurance and ReachOut provide?

I'm doing some research for an article about the free government cell phone providers and am trying to create a list of the phones the three majors (Safelink, Assurance and ReachOut) offer to recipients. The sites do not say and asking customer service hasn't been very productive. By chance does anyone happen to know where there is a list?

    VM/Assurance offers the Jax.
    Idk about Tracfone/Safelink.
Reachout seems to allow ANY Verizon compatible postpaid phone.

Assurance should allow upgrades to other VM models (I don't think Beyond Talk phones will work though). And Safelink allows upgrades to other Tracfones.

I have no idea what phones any of these guys use.

Never bothered to research them actually. ReachOut probably had the Non-Government Assisted Simple Plan for ages, but I never knew about it. Minimum purchase is $3 every 90 days or about $12 a year on the Verizon network. Too bad you only get a total of 80 minutes for the $12, and the fact that you must pay a $72 activation fee.

Here's the link to Reachout Wireless's phones but they vary on zip code:

I signed up for them in August and they sent me an LG VX9900, which is a somewhat decent phone for free but I just upgraded it to the HTC Eris. Their phones are around 2 year refurbed. I hope I have good luck with the Eris as I did with the LG.

Yes. I'm not sure how they are going to bill me for it so I leave it on wifi. I have set it where I don't use any mobile data because I'm not sure what it will cost me yet although an app I downloaded does show I've used some data. I've only had it about 2 weeks so far.

What is the rate of conversion between MB and minutes? I couldn't find anything about data on the ReachOut site.

Also it appears that they might sell something called "The Simple Plan" to anyone, even people in states where ReachOut doesn't participate in Lifeline or people who don't qualify for Lifeline. Again details were seriously lacking. If that's true, it could be a viable Verizon MVNO option.

I am not to sure but she had 330 mins, i download opera mini and and checked an few sites and her mins were down to 317, as for the simple plan you are talking about online it says there's an ctivation fee is $72, the plan is 500 minute plan and bonus 250 Text Messages only $18.50, funny because with the lifeline credit that same plan is only 5 a month.

ReachOut charges $1.25 per MB per their terms.

"Data: The rates to send or receive Data using your REACHOUT WIRELESS™ handset is $1.25 per megabyte."
