    LG Optimus Pad

    did anybody pick this up yet? how bad is the Rogers bloatware?

    Its fast. It has a nice feeling when holding in your hand. Large dimensions. LG has some sort of 3D camera application installed in it. I have shot a short video connected it with the supplied HDMI cable with a 3D TV. Amazing quality. Enough said here.

    It takes a proprietary charger... don't ask why.
    I am sure it can be charged via data cable (micro USB).

    To test video quality I tried to install Vevo app from market place and it didn't work. Had to force close it. Google earth didn't work either...

    Huh, I think it sounds like a pretty solid device. The only downside is a proprietary charger and that's the case for pretty much every tablet out on the market, so this is nothing new.

    no, if google earth crashes on it, makes you wonder what else might not work

    Well that's possibly a honeycomb issue, keep in mind, not everything has been updated to support the new OS.
