    I was offered the Xperia, never got it though, because I only had one name.
    I was given the Panache for other reasons.
    Consider t his a 'lottery', and that I 'won' the Panache.

    Well,after 4-5 months of major problems,losing a great deal of money,running around to every store in town attempting to fix things,tons of emails and being blamed for everything dealing with CS which wasn't my fault what did I really get in the end for all my troubles where I deserved to be bashed online just for thanking Mr.Dobbin for at least doing the right thing.

    I got my refund back for my first canceled plan after 5 months that was owed to me.
    I got my $50 rebate for the MobiFlip that was owed to me after 5 months.
    I got an extra $50 back for the useless MobiFlip that I couldn't use anymore where I was told to keep the unit smashing it as morally there was no way I was going to sell that thing to anyone...so basically I just got my money back for the phone.
    I got $20 back placed in my Wallet which I lost while roaming in Mobi's Home zone which I was entitled to.
    And I got $50 off my new Spice at a time when the phone was reduced to basically the same price.

    So,for all the stress/wasted time/loss of service/etc this is what I got:

    I was placed on the $35 plan from the $40 plan and received "1" free month.

    Now,the reason this really pisses me off is that when I thanked Mr Dobbin for this small gesture online I was accused of being his buddy and I'm still getting messages claiming that,in reality I only got back what I deserved and thought it was an honorable thing to do at the time.Yet, nothing in life is fair and if Allan got a Panache for his issues good for him as it makes up for all the mistakes the Incumbents made over the years even though it's only one small case.Do I understand it,not really because Allan came to me asking for assistance to help him find new Subs so he could get a new Sony and I agreed ...but from what I know he got his new Panache simply because his Spice wasn't working properly and I can understand why Mr.Hamilton is puzzled.Right after that Allan came into my box bragging about what he got and for the record that's not the reason I wanted my issues resolved.Allan also said Mobi was going to give him a job possibly and if that is the case at least I see some sense in that unless he's lying.

    Therefore,I see there is minimal fairness and why so many people are screaming...I think they have a right if "LEGIT" and not just bashing on purpose.

    Yet,what is even more disturbing for me is that after 3 friggin awful phones my Spice now is breaking down also where the damn WiFi won't shut off to use Barnacle,the Data connects/drops and the system freezes to the point I have to restart each time even though it's only a couple of months old...if I want to have the phone fixed I have to buy a new one or go without the service until they do and even if they give me a loaner I have to risk giving a deposit as I've lost money doing this before.

    As I said many times I will never go to Wind and that's not even an option because of their credibility,however Mobi is only slightly better in terms of overall service and everything else is pretty well screwed up from the stores to internal CS in my opinion...simply to save money and not to do the right thing.Mobi is also SLOW to address issues and that's not fair to one single customer.That's why I don't believe anything Fanboys say or most of the Hype that is generated by the companies because in the end if they are bought out they won't be sending us sympathy cards.

    Therefore...to Mobi!

    *Start fixing the technical issues and start responding professionally.
    *Improve refunds/rebates and keep promises you make.
    *Fix the problems you have in your stores and CS and actually hire people that can answer questions.
    *Do your best to change things around and not go down the same road Wind Mobile did where you lose totally credibility.
    *Maybe coming on HoFo or even being here is not beneficial,listen yes and take that knowledge to fix the problems on the streets and gain new customers by performance and not promises...you will never prosper listening simply to your marketing crew and coming up with trendy new ideas that produce nothing.When I cancelled Rogers I got my refund in a week and all the anger towards them is not related to performance only rates,
    *If you're going to sell junk expect criticism and losing customers.
    *Don't try just to obtain new Subs for the numbers,make them want to stay and if there is a major issue respect them by coming out at declaring it...not running from the problem like Wind does and hiding.
    *And the only way you show integrity is by having it...don't try to fake it.

    If my Spice goes I will seriously have to think whether it's worth buying a more expensive phone or staying with Mobi and maybe why individuals with no problems just poor service are leaving and will leave fast.

    Fairness to all or there is no fairness!

    I want Mobi to succeed and ignoring the issues will put you in the grave faster.

    Maybe the reason why they think you're brown nosing is because you call him Mr. Dobbin. If they're wrong about why you call him Mr. then from now on I'd like you to refer to me as Mr. Hamilton.

    I can't offer you a rebate or a free phone like Mr. Dobbin can but surely that's not why you call him Mr.

    I wouldnt really mind a "shawbilicity" ... if mobilicity looks after HSPA and shaw looks after LTE!


    (especially true after shaw announced the new 100Mbps internet @ $63/month)

    I'd mind since a merger with Shaw would undoubtedly lead to significant price increases.

    I noticed this the other day. Must set it up pronto. Too bad it's limited.

    IIRC Acanac or was it Teksavvy had no limits on referral bonuses. You could get free internet if you referred 10 people or something like that.

    Frankly., to have a freelance DEALER pushing the product, why WOULD Mobi limit the rewards? It's silly.

    LOL..I'll tell ya why..cuz likely...those of us who are having a great time on Mobi, are referring people ANYWAY. haha...Doh!

    Agree. Mobilicity has nothing to loss except costing them $20 for each new subscriber. But for the time being, I am happy if I get 5 referrals.
