Softunlock : u can do everything with your phone. except a few application that originally from japan that only useable in japan perhaps and with softbank simcard.

else : do need hypersim.

to be honest I never used android so I don't know about the photo apps and stuff.. I think If you already have Iphone.. you could just use the phone for calling.

another tipps.. read the post from superSZ about the signal issue on 007sh. perhaps it will help you with your problem of buying this phone or not.

i've read some people don't have problems (or not at all.) and some have.
and too there is someone who is from germany who used this phone and doesn't have much problems at all i think? even with the internet (I am from germany too^^ I would use o2 then for this phone)

unlock fee is sgd 300 dollars per piece.
shipping fee is not included.
hence if you sum up everything by adding in the shipping cost. it will cost around the phone 380 singapore dollars for the unlock plus shipping cost.
as i do ship frequent to europe.
it about 70 plus dollars for shipping

so the total cost work out
300 for unlock
70 dollars for shipment back to euro and usa via ems - other country to be confirm again
add 4% paypal tax

Yikes... don't think you'll find anyone here that will want to unlock through you (prince_charming) when we all know kokos can do it (and apparently for half the price) ... or maybe this is a kokos supporter to get people to think "maybe kokos is the cheapest option"

either way, i get the feeling most of the people here are waiting for a cheaper unlock app from the hackers at 2ch.net ... seems no one wants to send their phone 1/2 way around the world for an unlock.

Kokos was the first guy who claimed to be able to unlock the 007sh on these boards... he was asking approx $200 (SGD250). Anyways why would you tell people your unlocking fee is expensive??

He's just literally telling everyone here directly that his selling prices *in chinese/hokkein language terms* are 砍菜头, and only if the buying customer is willing to be a 萝卜. Since you are from Hong Kong, I'm sure I don't have to spell it all out for you what all that exactly means.
