MTs 4G slow as crap since friday night (last night)

Presently, no other provider provides a so called "unlimited service" but nor do they advertise as such. You are usually charged .10/ Mb on everything over 5 Gb.

How much a month does one pay for that 5GB to begin with?

Telus charges $55 /mnth for unlimited province wide calling with 5gb data.
Rogers is all kinds if messed up, they don't really have a similar plan.

Wind mobile advertises unlimited data and calling for $45.

Well my download speeds were better this weekend, my upload speeds were low but I was able to surf the web.
