Now while I did not have this with Wind I did have this with a handset I did have. The Old rogers sim was different than the new one and did not work, rogers gave me a new sim and all was well.. contact wind and see if they will swap it out.. better yet go to a wind location and give it a go. I would suggest you not tell them it worked with a fido sim.. that may confuse them and they will tell you it is a handset issue. just act like it is not working and they may give you a new sim. How old is your sim from wind? have you any friends that have a newer sim you could try?
