    Verizon confirms Droid X Gingerbread release

    Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.3; en-us; DROIDX Build/VZW) AppleWebKit/533.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/533.1 480X854 motorola DROIDX)

    According to Android Central, Verizon will begin pushing Gingerbread for Droid X this Friday.

    What Android Central didn't include is this........................May 27 was the OTA push to the soak test members only.

    June 1st is the rumored date for the OTA push to the masses.
