Like about half the people that commented on that TMonews article, I have never had a problem with my G2x
Guilt Is A Useless Emotion
Apparently it is just an inventory shortage, the phone was not taken off the shelves for quality issues according to this: http://www.unwiredview.com/2011/05/2...ory-shortages/
A few days ago Tmobile announces that they are moving the insomnia sale to tonight to give people a chance to be able to get in on the free phone deals that many complained they didn't know about last month when they did the same type of sale with the galaxy.
They announced on twitter that the G2 and G2X would be the featured phones.
If this was a G2x shortage, don't you think that someone should have checked the stock before announcing it in a big free phone promo?
Also if it was a shortage why didn't they just put temp out of stock from the start on the website like it is listed now instead of pulling it off the site?
Regardless of why it was pulled off the site it still is not smart to hype a promo of the hottest phone they offer and then last minute pull that phone because of it being out of stock.
They can't be that dumb to not have enough stock to satisfy orders and the phone is there hottest phone so they dint have fresh inventory coming in everyday?
Tmobile needs to address the issues that many of us have been having with the G2x now and admit that there are problems with many of the phones and make good to these customers.
If they fix these few problems the phone would be a great phone.
It's amazing how a company can be short on inventory for a phone they didn't market or advertise. It's not like everybody and their momma was lining up to get the phone. It's like the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Situations like this is why I lose faith in T-mobile management.
They better hurry and fix things up before iphone 5 releases.........

T-Mobile is actually RAISING the price of the G2x to $299 according to Tmonews. Weird.
They claim they are in short supply. So that's why they're raising the price to slow the sales down.
i have some issues were some people tell me they cant hear me but im on 4G and full bars, i also have a problem were i have my calling volume all the way up but it some times it acts like it was on silent and no ring tone is playing when i have a call. also the touch is giving me a little problem here and there were like if im on the texting screen the place were the pic is for that person ur texting some times acts like im clicking it and it repeats it really fast & also when im on the home screen it tries to slid to one side on its own but only goes part of the way. also may be about 4-5 min ago a new thing is going on were i got a call(it did not ring by the way) and i tried to slid the green answer botton but it took me 3-4 times be for it went. also the alarm clock is not working well i set it to wake me up and it always comes on late one time it started 10 min late and one time 30 min late and one time never even went off and i tripled checked each time to make sure what time i put it and if check marked the box. is any one having any of this problems?
