What are the benefits so far with rooting? So far I am rally happy with my Comet being stock, other than my other post with my Bluetooth connectivity issues.
Well, i was in that boat. There is actual benefits. including wifi hot spots, rooted applications and more. You phone has a hot spot already, so who cares.
My point is, is that these companies are screwing everyone who is not rooted in the ***. A root means that there is a more intelligent group out there that provides more stuff, so you can get it. Meaning, right now you are just buying from the employees of t mobile or att, (apps). At first I was really intimidated to root, then I did and realized it was not so bad. I have owned the comet 3 times, it's a good phone and i would mos def root it. Rooting allows you to dl apps, such as cpu booster, so it goes a lot faster. I see it like, why have a slow phone when you can have a fast. So indeed rooting is the more safer and smarter way to get the benefits.
