My card was all orange on one side, including the SIM. The other side was also orange but the SIM was blue and white. Had a 3G logo on it too. I know there are differences between different AT&T cards, but I can't remember what they are.

One note, because you are having it shipped to Canada, you won't be able to use the web page to add funds until you are in the US and receive the PIN via SMS. I am not sure if you can add funds over the phone with customer service, but I know some services they charge you for if they are available on their self serve website.
    Carrier unlocked iPhone 4
Unlimited airtime, Unlimited CAN/US long distance, Unlimited SMS to CAN/US wireless numbers
2500 Call Forwarding minutes to CAN/US numbers
    CiD, 6GB
Google Voice for visual voice mail with message transcription, conditional greetings, unlimited messages (vs 35 message cap), remote retrieval from any PC or phone, no auto-purge after 10 days and most importantly no $7-$8 charge.

AT&T told me that won't ship to Canada. So I am using Mr Google's services to find various AT&T sim cards.

If this is to be for prepaid service, is that any type/colour of the SIM card I should be looking for ? Or are they all the same ? (this would be for an iphone4, and I can cut it up into microsim myself).
Look on eBay or something similar.
Use any unused SIM card you want, it can say Cingular Wireless or at&t but if you're using the iPhone 4 then a micro SIM is better.

If using a Canadian credit/debit card then change the home and billing address to a US address one, then when you use it your bank/financial institution should automatically do the USD to CAN conversion for you or just buy a prepaid debit card.

    iPhone 4/GOphone issue

I have used my iPhone 4 in the States several times as a GOphone, but would like to add data. If I use the unlockit fix, will I have to change any settings back when I reinstall my Canadian SIM? (Virgin)
    Thanks,
    GT

[QUOTE=ceredon;14426925]The don't officially support iPhones with goPhone, but it will work. My iP4 an unlocked unit and it worked fine. I updated the APN to use the wap.cingular settings and it was all good. You don't need to be jailbroken. Just use http://www.unlockit and select AT&T or Cingular for the APN. I'd suggest doing this before you leave Canada and select the option to email the APN to yourself. Then when you get the States, just open the email and install the APN. You could also use Apple's iPhone Configuration Utility (free download) to manually tweak the APN yourself if you are bringing a laptop with you. (I just realized you only mentioned the JB allows you to edit the APN on the phone, so yes, that would work too).

Yes, when you get back to Canada you just go to Settings and delete the APN file. I think it is under Settings->General->Network. Then pop in your Canadian SIM and you are back to normal.
