This thread was a huge help to me. Thank you to all who've contributed!

Using a TP2 as my donor, I was able to configure a Nexus S 4G to work on my legacy plan following the steps outlined in post #26 (after pulling my SPC via option 1 in post #64).

After entering all the needed info onto the NS4G, the phone reset and I had talk, text, and 1x without a hitch, but no 3G. PRL and Profile updates are not working, so I downloaded the PRL from a post on another forum and installed it via the Roam tab in Service Programming. Re-booted the phone and now I have working 3G - without having to speak to any reps or reprovision data. I'm using Google Voice, so I can't comment on voicemail notifications. I'm unable to post links here, but PM me if you need a link to the PRL I'm using (60687, upgraded from 60683).

Hope this is helpful to someone.

    Cheers.

Tried this on a Sprint Samsung Galaxy S3. QPST v2.7 Build 366 does not work on it. Used QXDM v3.11.36 to try the password and spc commands, and that works and you can use QXDM to repair the MEID. So far, got voice, SMS, and 1xRTT data working on the GS3 on SERO plan. Fiddling around w/ CDMA Tools DFS v4.0.0.3 to get 3G working. Trying to correlate what was done w/ the GS2 using QPST modifying profile 0 and profile 1 and see if the same can be done to the GS3 using DFS. So far it seems DFS is the ticket to get 3G working...just need to know what to change!

I kept getting error 67, the phone is working ok but not the data.

I can't get ha/aaa on profile 1 overwrite with QPST.
If I did that with cdma workshop on NV 465,466,1192 and 1194.
DO I still need to update ha/aaa in M.IP tab profile 0 and 1 ?

Also in M.IP tab active user is 0 or 1 ?

    would very much appreciate it.
    Currently Have this problem.
    Some methods I tried were
    Updated modem to ICS ff18
downgraded to the same PRL as my donor phone which was my old HTC EVO 4g. 60683
Whenever i go to active profile 0 it never connects. when doing profile 1 it does but with problems above.
I went into pps tab and uncheck the tick boxs from that other post but didnt change the numbers.

Some info on my phone. I got it already rooted and a custom rom on it. It was Calkulins rom with El29 modem and 60686 PRL

any suggestions would be Extremely helpful.
    Thank you

I've tried a few things using DFS, and so far no go.

I got a hold of QPST 2.7 build 378. This version is able to read more info from the Galaxy S3 than build 366. I'm able to launch EFS Explorer and see most (if not all) the NV Items. I'm not able to use Service Programming however. As soon as I enter the MSL, I get an error message saying "Roaming list receive failed". It looks like the latest build is 385. I'm wondering perhaps this build will be able to fully read/write the GS3. If anyone has a link to QPST 2.7 build 385, please share.

I don't believe re-provisioning will help you. I'm thinking you're not connecting via 3G, but only at 1xRTT. Don't pay attention to the 3G icon you see on your notification bar unless your ROM can display both 1X and 3G icons (most ROMS display only 3G even while connected at 1x). One way to test if you're 3G or 1x, is to download Speedtest from Play Store and measure your speed. If you are indeed connecting via 1xRTT only, then your issue is one or more of the following:

    1) Profile 0 (fix it in M.IP tab in QPST). HA is "secret". AAA is taken from your donor's NV Item 1192.

    2) Profile 1 (fix it in M.IP tab in QPST). You can leave this alone or your can enter it in manually. You can populate this automatically by connecting to WiFi, going into phone dial pad, dial *2, then choose activate. Your ROM must have the Sprint Zone app installed or this method will not work.

    3) PPP (fix it in PPP Config tab in QPST). The UM and AN.

I am going from a TP2 to Galaxy Sii. Now the TP2 that I am using as a donor was not my current TP2 but my previous device. I have voice and text working but no data. When I go into ##debug# on SGS2 I get AAA-AN Fail.
I have copied the info that I could over from ##data#. I will change my info for on here.
This is what I get from TP2-
    SPI HA 4B1
    SPI AAA 4B1
    HA Shared(hex) secret
    AAA (hex) 3nt154

I put that info into QPST, but when I go into SGS2 from ##data# this is what I see-

    HA SPI 1234
HA password only stars- but the length looks right
    AAA SPI 1234
AAA password only stars- but the length looks right

When I try to edit the HA/AAA SPI on the SGS2 phone it gives me "invalid input. try again"
When I look at the info in QPST it shows the 4B1 info that I pulled from TP2 (data and QPST)

Also on PPP AN page I did not put in my password at the bottom since that was not filled in on the TP2.

Any ideas what I should do to finish this?

When you activate a phone with Sprint, the AAA password is changed each time for Profile 1. You said you're using the previous TP2 than your current one. If you're trying to use the password from that phone, it won't work. You must use the password of an activated phone. So either use your current activated phone as donor, or activate your previous phone and use that as donor.

On the Galaxy S or S2, configure the following:

    For M.IP Tab:
Make sure Profile 0 is enabled.
    NAI = donor_MEID@hcm.sprintpcs.com *
HA = secret (make sure "Enter text string" is selected)
AAA = 32 character HEX string from your donor's NV Item 1192 (make sure "Enter hex value" is selected).

You can leave Profile 1 alone. When you do *2 as described in my previous post above OR run "Update Profile" on the Galaxy, this Profile will automatically be enabled and populated.

    For PPP Config Tab:
UM - User Id = samsung01@sprintpcs.com, leave password blank
AN - User Id = donor_MEID@hcm.sprintpcs.com, leave password blank. *

*Use your donor's MEID for donor_MEID

One thing I left out, in order for you to use the *2 method, you must zero out your MDN and MSID. You can do so by dialing ##your_MSL_code#, then put ten zero's for both MDN and MSID fields. Then reboot your phone, connect to WiFi, then dial *2, then Activate phone.

Since the AAA password changes every time- would I have to change them every time manually when phone is put on another acct or would they auto update from now on?

Yes, if you activate the donor phone to a different account, you will need to update the username and AAA password on Profile 1. Running "Update Profile" on your Galaxy phone is the easiest way to update Profile 1. That should work. Otherwise, you can update the username and password on the Galaxy via QPST.

1)How do I enter it in..on the second line there is "6C" then zeros...do i ignore and just enter the top 32 on first without spaces.
2)I have yet to do this. Will my AAA key be rest?
3)I copied it exactly from my Evo 4g(which was copied from Touch Pro(one).
