There is a new cell tower being constructed right behind my house. Its been under construction for about three weeks now and it looks to be almost completed. Bell and Telus have the entire Island (Cape Breton) covered in 4G, so there would be no reason for them to build out more towers. If you picked up 3G in North Sydney even briefly then this is definitely Rogers constructing the tower. Ye Gods, its about time. My contract with them is up in August, but if they match Bell and Telus' coverage I may just renew.

3G goes all the way to Kentville at least. Im able to travel from Halifax to Kentville on a call with out a single drop. way better then the 3 drops edge used to have.

I havnt been further west to see where it stops.

Now good 3G Halifax to Truro, Truro to just past New Glasgow, then bad 3G again past Antigonish to Whycogamaugh, then finally good 3G around Kelly's Mountain to North Sydney, if you call 1.5 down and 0.6 up good. Soon we will see if there is any coverage on the Rock outside of St John's
