    NET10 Unlimited Plan

Good Evening. I just purchased a Net10 phone yesterday at Target and I activated it with the $50 dollar unlimited plan. My question is that has anyone went over the 50,000 minutes and if they did what would happen Thank You.

If all you used it for was talking you couldn't run out. There are only 1440 mins a day and 50000 is 1666.66 mins a day. But they get used for data as well.

Unless you can talk and use data at the same time, you would still be safe.

If you use the phone without breaking any of their Terms and Conditionss you will not get in trouble and have your phone shut off. A link to T&C is found at the bottom of everything.

You CAN'T talk more then 43,200 minutes a month. But it is possible you could go over on the data. I'm not 100 percent sure but I believe that you will have a very hard time going over Net10 unlimited's "caps".

It is one of the highest caps for any mvno out there. Easily equals or even surpasses many prepaid divisions.

Use as much as you want and don't worry about it. Much better then the 4000-6000 minute Sprint mvno cap and 5000 minute Att mvno caps on their "unlimited" plans.

I get my unlimited card at the family dollar store and on the receipt it says:

NET 10 UNLIMMTD MINS TXT 30MGB

So I take that as we are only getting 30 mgb of data with the unlimited plan.

Hold on to that receipt till you varify you actually received the $50 unlimited and not the $25 750 minute plan by mistake. 30 mgb sounds like the $25 plan but I could find nothing on the Net10 site regarding data with the $25 plan. Maybe just a missprint on the receipt.

The StraighTalk $30 plan states 30 mg of data.

It's definitely the 50$ unlimited plan I have about 7 receipt's here that all say the same so I don't believe it's a misprint. Straight talk might be better deal then Net10 in that case. I know they don't sell Straight talk air card's at the family dollar Just the cheap stuff.

you guys know you can setup automatic renewal with a credit card right? Just wish they would stop the daily notice my month is almost over since I dont have to buy a card.

Cant imagine you would really use up enough unless you're constantly sending and receiving picture/sound messages. (forget but think that's MMS right?)

Could be a daily cap before they throttle or something. Tmobile "unlimited" daily web pass has a 30 meg cap before throttle on their Tmobile prepaid data plan for phones.

    Hard to say.

I have the LG 900g. I called there esclations dept 1-800-876-5753 and they told me not to pay attention to the 50,000 on the screen because it does not mean anything. i was going to go to Straight Talk but I heard NET10 has more coverage.

The 900G is a GSM phone. GSM coverage is equal between ST and N10. ST is deficient ONLY in their CDMA coverage which is Verizon only, no roaming. N10 does has superior CDMA coverage because of roaming.

alex5000, just wondering have you used any minutes and if so does it actually count down minutes from the 50,000? It might just be some code and if so it probably stays at 50,000 without counting down. Just wondering.
