SIMple mobile is not simple.. AND barely mobile.. (edge at work!)

Hi there again.. I've pretty much tried every prepaid company that exists but this one is by far the most confusing.
So a few weeks ago I called simple mobile and was on the phone for about 45 + minutes for activation and this "guy" fails to port my number.. but finally everything completes and he gives me the settings for internet plus mms and blah.
So, internet instantly started working so did texts, calls and emails and I was loving it.
But, just the other day my boyfriend tried to send me an mms and all i got was "downloading" then it fails and it kept happening
Someone told me to wait about a week for mms from sprint to start working but this isn't for sprint this is all carriers I've tried about every possible setting and it still fails.
I never really heard of a company where settings isn't OTA 60 bucks a month is cheap but I pay for mms..
So, anyone got any working mms settings? for LG Optimus T on simple mobile?
I got til the 20th before I switch to T-Mobile if I could get this working I'll spare Simple and love you forever...

And excuse my constant postings I've searched google all night looking for this and I got nothing, I'm loving the phone but I'm finding myself hating the service.. -bangs head on desk-

For the Optimus T, follow:

Android 1.6 and Higher - Internet and MMS

From the home screen
Press Menu
Select "Settings"
Select "Wireless & networks"
Check that "Airplane mode" and "Wi-Fi" are unchecked
Select "Mobile networks"
Check that "Data enabled" is checked.
Select "Access Point Names"
Delete all existing APNs
Select APN
Press Menu
Select "Delete APN"
Create new APN
Press Menu
Select "New APN"
Enter the following information:
Name: SIMPLE Mobile
APN*: simple
Proxy: <Not set>
Port: <Not set>
Username: <Not set>
Password: <Not set>
Server: <Not set>
MMSC: http://smpl.mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
MMS Proxy: <Not set>
MMS Port: <Not set>
MCC: 310
MNC: 260
Authentication Type: <Not set>
APN type: <Not set>
*Case sensitive
Press Menu
Select "Save"
Reboot phone.
Your Internet & MMS is now configured!

Should be an extremely easy fix on the Optimus T, just reboot your phone for good measure. Remember MMS will NOT download with Wifi on.

I have those settings, it doesn't work..
But thanks though maybe it's just their network...

Maybe your phone is not fully unlocked.Simple Mobile works on any GSM phone.Any problems with service is usually because of bad settings configuration made by the user or activation source.Android phones should be rooted so you can enable super user permissions which then allows properly configure your phone freely from any previous provider locks.Also unlocking your phone via an "unlock code" is not always the best option.Having a professional use an "unlock box" is the best and thorough method.

Proxy: 265.155.165.050
MMS Port: 8080

All The Proxys are 265.155.165.050

The MMSC: is always h ttp://smpl.mms.msn.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
By the way there is no space between the h and the t in http, I just did it that way so that I hyperlink would not post. I dont want any live URLS in my post.

This will help you receive picture messages from your boyfriend.

Also, if you get the My Touch 4G you can send picture messages ALL THE TIME and VIDEO MESSAGES. Wow!

Thanks all really but I ended up switching carriers again because my optimus started acting up (i'm always testing cellphone carriers) but I ended back with vm and the 25 plan because I had my old account before the price rise ^^
But I really liked this company using any phone you like, I think all carriers should do this only thing didn't work for me (or I couldn't figure out) was the MMS
Miss android though! my optimus was powerful.

Anyway to save from posting a new thread my mothers motorola charm loses data connection sometimes on the Simple mobile network any ideas?

For me simple mobile is the best service I have used so far. I have tried boost. Straight talk. But always came back. Been 2 years and called cs may be twice to just change the simcard. I am in Chicago and here I get 12 mgs data in my s2. I has tried straight talk. And dropped called. And data was only 3 to 5 mgs.
