Not quite sure about the twitter complaints. if you don't log in, you won't have any trouble.
Quite simply I don't even want twitter integration visible. I do realize that many people use twitter, but I have no use for it. So I hope there's a way to edit out twitter's presence. So I'd be happy with it just being invisible until/if I decided to reactivate it. Other than their possibly misguided approach to shoving twitter's presence into everybody's throat, I like what I have read so far.

It will probably work like Android. There will be many types of accounts you can publish to (Twitter, Facebook, etc.) but the context menu only shows accounts that are activated.
I am a little confused. My Verizon phone was able to roam on GSM because they used TDMA. Tell it was shutdown. The phone recognizes it as Analog. If PCS has TDMA, It could be technically be used on GSM.

Much needed updates, but I was really hoping for a new look for the home screen. It still looks pretty much the same as '07. I knew widgets wasn't going to happen, but was still holding out hope that maybe they would include them.
Hopefully there is an option to opt out of OTA updates.
Looks like nearly every reason I jailbreak is going to be in the stock UI now. I don't like that it looks like they ripped off LockInfo tho. It looks nearly identical to Stimpy's app.
I was rather shocked at the lackluster features, but maybe my bar was set too high. The best ones were notifications, & the ability to open a notification from the lock screen. Twitter int. Might be nice. Imo.

My biggest concern right now is that Verizon's iPhone will be months behind the GSM model once the new OS is released. I don't understand why after all this time we're still not on version 4.3.
I can't believe I'm saying this but perhaps a switch back to ATT is in order.
I was hoping for widgets, revamped email that included some desktop like features, maps with turn by turn navigation. I like that they improved the notification system, but from the demo, it didn't seem like they went far enough.
