Hey Guys
Ive had the Droid X for awhile and I just got gingerbread on it about a week ago great software
well I just upgraded to Droid X2 today and the way it looks is great its very fast I can tell a big difference in speed as far as navigating menus and calls and stuff
But when will they release gingerbread for the X2?
Ive noticed one thing the dialpad color the silver or whatever is already like that on the X2 it looks like gingerbread on the Droid X.
Do you guys think that the X2 isnt getting gingerbread and this is Droid X2s version of Gingerbread or what
I know my phone doesnt have gingerbread cuz the software version is 2.2.2

Any phone marked with DROID on it from Motorola is having the brakes put on future software updates by VZW. VZW is extremely upset with the amount of buggy Android releases Moto is tossing them. If you remember, the DX had 3 releases refused by VZW from Moto.

I left NEXTEL because:![]()
1) Gary Forsee for single-handedly killing the mighty NEXTEL
2) Paul Saleh for coughing up the money for Gary's BIG ideas of grandeur from the NEXTEL cash cow
3) Timmy Donahue for taking his golden parachute and leaving post-merger when we needed him most
4) Barry West for regressing iDEN backwards 10 years by killing 6:1 and WiDEN development
5) Dan Hesse for practicing apathy over sympathy, then prolonging the pain
Had my X2 for a bit over a month. Just did an OTA update. Now running Android Version 2.3.3. Icons are different. Must be Gingerbread.
Got mine ota yesterday
