Just renewed contract

Hey guys,

My contract ended this month, so I called loyalty to check my choices. Unfortunately, I can't get smart phones and keep my T-zones Instead I took their offer on giving me a free 1-month service for renewal.

They told me I can get discounts on phones whenever I want because each line will still qualify for it. I was going to get the 9780 (white) x 4 and just sell them, but should I wait for newer phones? Thanks!

If you order the 9780's from them over the phone, T-mobile will strip you of your tzones and add a required 2 year smartphone plan to each line.

Those with older plans, like you have, used to be able to order smartphones online and it would not automatically add the data plan to your line. Then you could sell the smartphones. I have not heard anyone recently report that the method still works, but if you want the cheap phones to resell, you could try that.
