So i been reading for hours now and i had to register to ask this question, and please please some1 @least help me out even if all ya got is bad news.

Anyways, i have n old t266 from cingular and am giving the mobile to a friend of mine who use tracphone. the mobile device sucks *** so i figure he can use it.

my problem as ya might guess is i can get to the configuration window but i dont have the codes to unlock the mobile and i have 4 try left. is it true that i might have to end up calling att (or some1 else) to get the code or there is a default one?
