Yeah, unfortunately there are so many different android devices it makes it hard to be specific.

Yep, but in the APN world it's really Samsung vs All Other Brands in the way they're configured. As far as I know, Samsung is the only one where to setup ST you use 1 APN. Since HTC uses 2 in most cases.

Actually I switched to 1 APN on my HTC Inspire and everything is working fine including MMS.

Just a question: How would one go about adding new service cards to their phone as I am sure the droid would not have a menu/option to do so.

I think you should be able to dial *611 or use the website to add service cards

You dial the 1-800 number... if you have purchased the card from Walmart. You can set up auto-refill with a credit card. You can purchase a refill on their website and add it to your account there. Never tried 611 on ST, but I am pretty sure that's only for ATT. There isn't a menu option on my ST phone anyway.

I started on Straight Talk with the iPhone 4 back in March. It worked as advertised, but I couldn't stand how poorly the iPhone 4 integrated with Google apps. Using GMail, Google Voice and Google Maps was often a slow, painful experience.

After hearing about what iOS 5 doesn't have to offer (coupled with the lack of an iPhone 5 announcement), I switched to a Motorola Atrix 4G.

It's a great phone; definitely a step above my last Android handset (Samsung Galaxy S). Dual-core Tegra 2 CPU/GPU, 1GB RAM, "Retina" display, front/rear cameras, 1080p HD video recording/playback, microSD slot, AT&T "4G" capable.

My upload/download speeds are double what I was getting with the iPhone 4 outside the city where I live. In the city, the speeds are the same. GMail, Google Voice and Google Maps are a pleasure to use again on Android; the interface is better, it updates quicker, and Maps in particular offers real turn-by-turn navigation and much better support for layers.

You're supposed to leave the defaults....the default should have been 310 ....and the field after that should have been 410

A Verizon phone will not work unless it happens to have the necessary AT&T frequencies. You have to buy the Nokias from Walmart, on-line is cheaper than in store. ST has not offered the Nokias on-line for a long time now.

Verizon use a different technology altogether. They will not work.

Has anyone here gotten a Motorola Atrix 4G to work on Straight Talk? I'm thinking I'm going to get one come July 4th to upgrade from a iPhone 3GS.

Found a Atrix on eBay for $390 from a power seller that has a crap load in stock and says he got them from AT&T.

I am curious as to Wether or not the atrix's lapdock would work over ST. As on ATT the lapdock wont work without the tethering add on.
