Novatel 4510l vs. Cradlepoint PHS300

Got a question. I currently have a Pantech UML290 4G/3G USB modem, but want something to share with other devices. I have been considering upgrading to a new Novatel 4G MiFi or just buying a Cradlepoint PHS300 for the Pantech.

I have read on Cradlepoint's site that its limited to 6Mbps because of hardware limitations. The Novatel of course isn't limited.

How is the real world WiFi range difference between the two, and which one is the best for real world performance/Range? Thanks

I just got myself 4g router for my Pantech UML290. ZyXEL MWR211

It just arrived yesterday so I haven't fully tested it. But so far so good and it doesn't say anything about speed limitation cap and it has a 2 hour battery.

With a real 3G or 4G USB router, you can use it while charging. Something those Verizon hotspots don't allow.

After using my 4G router for some time, I think its better to get a dedicated hotspot. Having the usb stick sticking out kind of bites. Cant put it in your pocket.

I might add a hotspot to my collection, 4G USB stick, USB router and 4G hotspot.
